A HUGE THANK YOU

North Lincolnshire on Tuesday 5 September 2017 hosted the third stage of this year’s OVO Energy Tour of Britain with tens of thousands of residents and visitors lining the route. To help the race run as smoothly as possible, North Lincolnshire Council enlisted the help of an army of 130 local volunteers who gave up their day to become stage three Race Makers.

Our Race Makers were out and about along the route and around the start at Normanby Hall Country Park and finish in Central Park, making sure the public were safe and excited for the race.

To thank our Race Makers for their hard work on race day, sponsors and local businesses have kindly donated prizes to be raffled off to the volunteers. These include cycling equipment, free ice cream, discount vouchers worth £200 and even an official King of the Mountains Tour of Britain jersey.
